Starbucks, with 238,000 employees, provides a 401(k) savings plan called Future Roast. This plan includes Starbucks matching contributions to help employees save for the future through pretax payroll deductions. Employees become eligible if they are 18 or older with 90 days of service.
The matching rate is fixed each calendar year at either the Basic Starbucks Match of 100% on the first 4% of eligible pay contributed or at the Enhanced Starbucks Match of 100% on the first 6% of eligible pay contributed.
