A term used to describe all of the people born and living at about the same time, regarded collectively. The typical generation is about thirty years which is the amount of time where people typically are born, grow up, become adults, and have children of their own. The current generations in today’s workforce:Baby Boomers –The term used to describe those individuals born between 1945 and 1970.
Generation X – The term used to describe individuals born between 1965 and 1980.
Generation Y – The term used to describe individuals born between 1985 and the present.
Generation I – The term used to describe children born after 1994 that are growing up in the internet age.
